A modern 5-storey shop-top housing development with street level shops, 18 apartments and two basement levels is proposed for the corner of Belgrave and Raglan Streets and now open for comment, boasting an array of features. The lowermost basement (Basement 2) accommodates 24 residential car spaces, along with a plant storage area, individual storage units, stair and lift access. One level above, Basement 1 offers 11 residential car spaces, 6 visitor car spaces, and 4 retail car spaces. It also includes individual storage cages, a grease arrestor, and access through stairs and a lift.

At street level, the development presents 512m² of retail floor space distributed across four tenancies, with access from Whistler Street. This level also hosts residential and commercial waste storage spaces, an electrical substation, a plant storage area, and, stair and lift access.

The first floor features 5 two-bedroom apartments, alongside 2 three-bedroom apartments, all centered around a courtyard. Similar layouts of apartments continue on the second and third floors.. The fourth floor introduces 4 three-bedroom apartments, while the rooftop 4 roof terraces, plant facilities, and a lift overrun. Lastly, driveway access connects the development to Whistler Street, not sacrificing any on street parking.

According to the DA this project ‘harmonises both residential, with 18 apartments and commercial elements into a cohesive and modern architectural endeavour’.
