The 56 page Northern Beaches Community Strategic Plan 2040 (CSP) captures the community’s vision, aspirations and goals for the local area looking out to 2040.

Last revised in 2021, the CSP must be reviewed after an ordinary council election. Now it’s time to refresh the vision, outcomes and goals so the Council can continue to reflect your priorities and aspirations for the future.

It identifies 4 key areas, social (community and belonging, housing, places and spaces), economic (vibrant local economy, transport, technology and connectivity), environmental (protection of the environment and environmental sustainability) and civic priorities (good governance, partnerships and participation, as well as strategies to help us achieve them). The CSP guides the development of Council plans, policies and budget.

Council has a handy Survey on its Your Say page asking to what extent the goals and outcomes of these four key areas reflect what you want the Northern Beaches to be like in 2040? You can let them know if it’s one of these five responses, Not at all reflective, Slightly reflective, Moderately reflective, Very reflective, or Extremely reflective.

Or fill in a 500 character word picture of what you think. Too easy!!!
